Buttons, Stickers, and Various Other Promo
Items
The powers that be at Y107 considered dropping Tookie
(later Took E. and Tooky) Bird as the station mascot. Viewers were asked to vote for
or against Tooky. Tooky won and the station even had a Tooky Day. The
festivities, however, were not enough to keep Tooky around. The beloved
mascot was gone in a couple of months.
The sticker to the left was just a generic promo created
for events such as Riverfest, and Summer Lights.
Tape Labels
The image to the left is of the standard reel to
reel box label that the station used.
