When Y107 decided to hold a music festival for it's listeners, their first two choices for a name... Woodstock and Live-Aid... had already been used. The Tennessee countryside gave us the inspiration for LIVESTOCK.

The official logo for the event includes the names of all the acts that performed at a private listener party for more than 1,200 people.

4th of July

As Nashville's biggest single day event, Y107 annually presents the city with the Fourth of July Fireworks following a full day celebration in conjunction with the Metro Board of Parks.

After a day of activities, Y107 provides live pop acts performing free to the public, followed by a boat parade and a Nashville Symphony concert.

But the grand finale of the Y107 Fireworks attracts crowds estimated at several hundred thousand, stopping traffic on all six interstates where cars park to watch this massive fireworks display choreographed to music.

Y107 believes in Nashville and supports the re-vitalization of our central downtown district by sponsoring this spectacular event right at Riverfront Park, in the heart of the city, also providing the biggest family day event of the year.
